Lovely day of sunshine on saturday so me and nic flew off in the motor to Helensburgh…she couldn’t actually believe I’d never been there. Massive picnic packed including a flask of soup…HARDCORE. Not much to helensburgh itself but it’s right on the waters edge so there’s a big box ticked right there. Lots of wee shops kicking about when i stumbled into this one…genius…absolute genius.
After this we went on the search of Hill house a house that charles rennie macintosh designed but didn’t build himself (just being lazy). We didn’t actually go into the building because it was all national trusted up…didn’t have to pay which was nice…well we don’t think we needed to i took some pictures then we ran away. Great day out which ended in a massive steak dinner…WOOHOO!
Started a wee doddle at lunchtime today…This was on Rothesay earlier this year. I’m never drawing backgrounds or just scenes…It’s normally toys or just any other random nonsense so this was a little tester to see if I actually could (be bothered more than anything). Drawn in Photoshop and I made it black & White cause it’s a bit easier…quite like it.
It’s official…look guiness says so. The world record for ferrero rocher eaten in a minute is 5. So last friday after a few pints it was decided that this was a laughably easy task. I thought I could have had it and had the instant disadvantage of going first. Colin Brown however just snuck a cheeky 6th one in the dying seconds. Dave just wanted to eat 5 ferrero rocher…genius
Nothing beats a nice quiet Sunday…beautiful sunshine…some good music…and some awful films on tv. YES IT DOES. A big filthy homemade beef stew served up in a yorkshire pudding bigger than andre the giants beret…sweet
Next batch of photos back for my holga….I…LOVE…IT. This photo was taken on my way to work…some scabby looking flats that looked a bit 70’s. Took the picture then turned the camera upside down and took the same picture again before winding it on. Ace. Learnt alot from my first spool. Although still managed to wind past 1 with this one…doh
Get gardening added to the CV Woohoo. This is my new chilli plant. Repotted it and everything, also i’m growing my own herbs…NO not drugs cooking herbs oregano, basil, thyme chives etc…WHO KNEW? Anyway this plant needs a name…something spicy?
