Last night my fellow work mate feli persuaded me to go see ladytron. Usual run of practice, out for pints and “go on, you know you want to” I don’t need much convincing. Seen them a few times before…but they were always just supporting. Had a wee listen to the new album and had to go really (It’s called Velocifero…go have a listen). I didn’t take my camera so had to settle for this off their new album. Like this track it’s a bit dr who…esque and hey the video has fit women with wolves…winner. The support was pretty bad…I can’t even remember their name.

Well what an adventure weekend I’ve had. Yesterday me and Lee went back to Loch winnoch for another spot of fishing. Not to be disappointed Lee took a disposable bbq…it wasn’t till later he admitted he had bought his own burgers…I was fishing for my dinner!. It was an absolute scorcher…even got sunburnt. Beer, BBQ, fishing and a monster pike….brilliant. Lee also caught one but it got away (better say that or he’ll go in a huff)

Oh and I did put it back and it swam off happy as an evil looking fish could…

I love toys…This phrase I will have to stop using…according to my blog stats alot of people end up here looking for “love toys”. Anyway my latest gadget is this: The Korg Kaossilater and my word is it alot of fun. To give it its proper title it’s a dynamic phrase synthesizer, but basically it has 100 built in sounds whcih are all controlled with a touchpad. But the clever thing is you can record and build up loads of layers to make some serious bonkers music. Great fun…Although the guy downstairs is a bit fed up of it. :). I have this guy to thank too…the only reason I bought it. For all I Know he’s saying “don’t buy this it’s rubbish…fun for the first 20 minutes”.

Well it’s taken me ages…Been doing a bit of animation when I can at In evenings weekend etc. Just to keep on top of my game. It takes ages. This doesn’t even last 20 seconds! The total hours spent doing this has been about 9 hours. Been playing about with making music to. Just got a new computer so it’s all been fun and games over the past week. Fot this I just shot some video then took it into flash where I drew over each frame…rock on!

Last night me and macca partook? in wee bit of tuesday night gigage. Great fun…good Alan Partridge like dancing. Support from Matthew dear which was also very good. Lots of filthy food and cheap beer…all in all another classic. To follow shortly the 5 stages of gig dancing…

Just back from Poland…as you do. A random Cheap holiday with some folks from work. Good fun. Krakow…nice city, good for a wander. Rubbish food…Good cheap beer though. Bought a hat for eliza…I really want to keep it for myself. I get some photos up on Flickr…when I can be arsed.

Well it’s happened. Not only that I’ve ran out of posh tissues. Moan Moan Moan…Childbirth blah blah blah.

Thought I’d whip out the old Mr frosty. Ideally wanted um bongo…but as we know it doesn’t exsist. However the lucozade slush puppy does remove all hints of hangover. Love it! In the process I also broke it…and I wasn’t even hungover. In other news I’ve lost my bank card. Finding stuff is much more fun than losing.

Whilst doing a little cleaning round the house to my 1995 top of the pops album. Eliza couldn’t resist singing along to her favourite recording artist. Mrs dion if you please…

This is awesome. Went and seen Dan Deacon Last night and my word did it live up to my amazingly high expectations. Been listening to his album spiderman of the rings constantly. Accidently bumped into a video on youtube after having another inspiring last.fm recommendation. Thankyou last. The only way I can describe this gig is imagine some weird primary school music lesson based on trippy electronic equipment and your teacher was eddie izzard. Fun Fun Fun was had. Silly dancing was had by all. He didn’t bother with the stage just put a table in the middle genius. His equipment was equally as bizzare which apparently he just finds. loved it. loved it. Went with richie who i think actually loved it more than christmas. Great gig awesome night out topped only with a scooby snack on the way home. Magic.
