Horse of the year!

Another ace weekend back in stoney. My mum and dad got round to sorting the loft and everything is all spick & span. So I had to go up for a nosey. Found some great games. Look at this beauty..horse of the year…the showjumping board game. It had jumping dice? missing…couldn’t play it…DAMMIT!

Mike reids pop quiz game

Mike reids pop quiz game…brilliant. Must be my sisters…genius. No instructions it it though…we made up our own rules. Quite liked it actually. Once you made a band you had to answer such questions like… Name 3 bands with more than 2 people are related? Name 3 songs with british cities/towns mentioned? I won in the end…cause I was top of the pops!

Now that’s what I call comfort

I had to blog this I’d be a fool not to. I recently purchased A big silly beanbag…It’s not massive…but it certainly does the job. They do make bigger ones, but the next size up was more like a single bed. Comfort and slouching makes johnson happy. See above as I show it’s versatility…don’t be fooled by my photoshop trickery for I only bought one bean bag, And don’t have any identical twins :)

ooooo nearly forgot, it was delivered in a massive box…ace

holga…tastic

Well I finally finished my film, after an embarassing encounter at jessops when the woman had no idea what to do with the film and neither did I…along came Phil…who seems to know alot about these things. I was supposed to develop only 12 pictures but I had my camera on the wrong settings (genius really when there is only about 3 things you can change on the camera) and ended up squeezing 16 pictures into 12 spaces with some cool results…have a look on flickr . Some things didn’t come out so well…but hey it was my first attempt…I love it. Bought loads more film and am nearly done with the next batch :) The coolest thing is the film itself once it’s processed just one massive length which I am attempting to process through photoshop but it’s proving difficult…it’s a winner. Think I’m going to find it difficult to reach for the digital camera…I’ll maybe just keep this one for the sunny days…so maybe not :)

I love stationary

I’d like to think i’m not alone here. I can’t resist the temptation in WH smith to buy some new pens or pencils…or just browse their various folders and various other boxes for holding important documentation (reading over this again makes me think I am alone). The good thing about WH smith is it has a certain bargain bin like quality to it (can’t resist a bargain). So this lunch time I went out to buy printer paper and accidently went off on a tangent. I now own a DYMO labelling machine…brilliant….EVERYTHING will be labelled by tomorrow. And some little Sharpie mini…see if they’re any good.

Make and break, the beauty of lego

I love lego…I mean really love Lego. Here are some intersting facts and figures on it. I still make the same spaceships and wee cars as I did 20 years ago…is that wrong?

let’s koasillate

I love toys…This phrase I will have to stop using…according to my blog stats alot of people end up here looking for “love toys”. Anyway my latest gadget is this: The Korg Kaossilater and my word is it alot of fun. To give it its proper title it’s a dynamic phrase synthesizer, but basically it has 100 built in sounds whcih are all controlled with a touchpad. But the clever thing is you can record and build up loads of layers to make some serious bonkers music. Great fun…Although the guy downstairs is a bit fed up of it. :) . I have this guy to thank too…the only reason I bought it. For all I Know he’s saying “don’t buy this it’s rubbish…fun for the first 20 minutes”.

Pete fowler, his stuff is awesome I’ve bought a few things from his shop before. I could spend alot of money. He also does alot of work with Super Furry Animals also a favourite of mine. Summer is slowly creeping and as a precation I got this for our office. Everybody seems to remember wanting one but never getting one. And nobody knows why. Lunchtime I had a Ribena slush puppy which exceeded my expectations. Tomorrow it’s Magners…Awesome!
