Well Mariokart is out on the wii today…most excited. Richies birthday yesterday so a wii party was called for. After work on the projector…magic. Everyone has supplied all their ridiculous controls and accessories…I hope we have enough batteries…woohoo!
I love toys…This phrase I will have to stop using…according to my blog stats alot of people end up here looking for “love toys”. Anyway my latest gadget is this: The Korg Kaossilater and my word is it alot of fun. To give it its proper title it’s a dynamic phrase synthesizer, but basically it has 100 built in sounds whcih are all controlled with a touchpad. But the clever thing is you can record and build up loads of layers to make some serious bonkers music. Great fun…Although the guy downstairs is a bit fed up of it. :). I have this guy to thank too…the only reason I bought it. For all I Know he’s saying “don’t buy this it’s rubbish…fun for the first 20 minutes”.
It was last Tuesday when my mind went for a wander (it has since got lost twice and not even phoned to let me know when it will be home) I ended back up on moo.com, I had been there before and seen what they do but never really bothered. However, once you get into the bones of the site it is indeed Awesome. I’m A huge fan of Flickr. more so now I have my new camera. But once I seen there Snazzy little integration…before I knew it I had ordered 100 mini moo cards. It Also imports images from Facebook and Bebo and a few others I didn’t recognize…whatever the trendy kids are into these days. But basically it prints glossy wee business cards. The cool thing is that it holds all the Flickr info too and puts it on the back. Wap your webaddress on the back and bingo. £10 for 100 cards? all different? it did sound to good to be true. So plomp today they arrived. Nipped out at lunch bought a frame. Thought I’d be all arty and just empty all the pics roughly into the frame and that would be it. Looked rubbish. Played about with them and had to sit and blue tac them all in nice and neat. Tried to arrange the photos in some order but still keeping a bit of random. Tried to match up the colours as best I could with the images I wanted. Eventually crammed in 60…looks awesome.
I have a new camera…tis awesome. see some more results here. For all the geeks who want to know numbers, figures and overly complicated pie charts go here to find out more.
Today the magic numbers arrived at my office…not the real ones…ha don’t be silly. Been looking at these fr a while. Would call myself a minor magic numbers fan but it’s more for the artists work. Pete fowler, his stuff is awesome I’ve bought a few things from his shop before. I could spend alot of money. He also does alot of work with Super Furry Animals also a favourite of mine. I love Toys!
Summer is slowly creeping and as a precation I got this for our office. Everybody seems to remember wanting one but never getting one. And nobody knows why. Lunchtime I had a Ribena slush puppy which exceeded my expectations. Tomorrow it’s Magners…Awesome!
New toys…new toys! Brilliant ordered this it’s awesome. Basically it’s a bendy tripod that sticks to anything. Just been playing around with it really…it’s pretty sturdy though. This is my journey to work in the morning takes just under 20 mins…so I squeezed it just under 3…Would have went less but it didn’t do the music justice.
It’s official…I’m Live. Having recently found out xbox live is free (to a certain extent) I set it all up and got a free month of xbox live gold. Brilliant!. For someone who would rather stay in than go out, stay up till all hours and play games it is quite genius.
The funniest bit is playing games online and speaking to other geeks through the ridiculous looking headset…I don’t mind it, There’s a certain satisfaction I get sitting round my house looking like an idiot.
If you’re looking for me my tag is bitsOfBobs…woohoo
Check out this puppy, It’s not very often I get excited about geeky computer stuff, but when they disguise it as some of my favourite toys I get very excited indeed. This is my New 250gb Harddrive. That’s right, It’s a giant USB piece of LEGO…AWESOME I’m practically fizzing with excitement. Where does it go from here? I’ll hopefully get a dvd writer disguised as a giant parma violet.
Uh oh…look what arrived today!!! courtesy of Crawfs awsome ability to refresh amazon more efficiently than me. There’s no way i’m waiting until christmas to play it.
