Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008Well I finally finished my film, after an embarassing encounter at jessops when the woman had no idea what to do with the film and neither did I…along came Phil…who seems to know alot about these things. I was supposed to develop only 12 pictures but I had my camera on the wrong settings (genius really when there is only about 3 things you can change on the camera) and ended up squeezing 16 pictures into 12 spaces with some cool results…have a look on flickr . Some things didn’t come out so well…but hey it was my first attempt…I love it. Bought loads more film and am nearly done with the next batch
The coolest thing is the film itself once it’s processed just one massive length which I am attempting to process through photoshop but it’s proving difficult…it’s a winner. Think I’m going to find it difficult to reach for the digital camera…I’ll maybe just keep this one for the sunny days…so maybe not

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008I’d like to think i’m not alone here. I can’t resist the temptation in WH smith to buy some new pens or pencils…or just browse their various folders and various other boxes for holding important documentation (reading over this again makes me think I am alone). The good thing about WH smith is it has a certain bargain bin like quality to it (can’t resist a bargain). So this lunch time I went out to buy printer paper and accidently went off on a tangent. I now own a DYMO labelling machine…brilliant….EVERYTHING will be labelled by tomorrow. And some little Sharpie mini…see if they’re any good.

Monday, September 15th, 2008Culzean Castle
Monday, September 15th, 2008Busy busy weekend…including decorating, awesome cooking, sorting my jumble sale like collection of things and rounded off with a sunday roadtrip to Culzean castle. What better way to spend a sunday than on a cliff by the sea next to a castle…brilliant. The grounds itself are massive with plenty to do and see. All been beutifully restored and maintained. Lots of walking to be done and cakes to eat. The best find was the Orangery. A massive buiding consisting of mostly windows where they just grew oranges. How posh do you have to be to give your fruit it’s own house?
There was no sign of the strawberryery. Also got to take my new holga camera out for a trip, ended up taking three cameras…oops.Great weekend
