If you have any of those wee cooked sausages Tesco sell in big packs, there's a cunning perforated shelf placed above the egg/s; place a handful of them on the shelf and the steam cooking the egg heats up the sausages at the same time! You're now eating boiled egg and sausages before heading for work! This is almost Star Trek technology... Last post on this subject. Coolest thing is that it switches itself off when everything's made which is ideal for before-work-rituals e.g. Set up T'n'E (put bread in toaster, egg in machine, switch it on), go for shower, shave, get dressed, return to T'n'E (which has done its task and then turned itself off), take out toast & put on plate, take out egg/s & put in egg cup, eat. Brilliant if you're always running late in the mornings like me - at least you're not passing out from hunger before lunch time :) No mess, no fuss, no shitty cleaning up after it; it's a far cry from the '70s teasmaid :) Makro were doing a deal on them a couple of weeks ago.
