This is my happy face. I have a few emulators for my mac including a spectrum emulator which is awesome by the way. But this is genius. Recently I dusted off my sega dreamcast (as I occasionally do). Doing a bit of google meandering I discovered that it’s quite a favourite amongst geek boffins. Turns out it’s pretty badly put together and quite easy to hack. So I stumbled upon a cd with 430 megadrive games on it. The good thing is the controller, I have megadrive games on my PC but it’s not the same playing it on a keyboard. This is why I have a happy face. Last night I sat and played desert Strike, Calfornia Games, James Pond, Altered Beast and various games I hadn’t even heard of. It was like Christmas 1992 all over again. Loved it. Also the dreamcast can pretty much emulate anything so tonight I’m playing 500 Amiga games. Rock on!
