More jenga…who knew. Back to Aviemore for more hilarity that the weather tried to ruin…nice try. Lots of sitting round playing games, drinking and eating food that your mum and dad normally wouldn’t let you. Brilliant. The outsider festival was on which apparently wasn’t that great, didn’t help that outside was probably the worst place to be. Joined this time round by kat maccas flat mate a lady instantly renamed kev as she had the smelliest wind

highlights included a lot of games, downfall, jenga, some wii action and some hilarious dancing in the vaults. Topnotch

Shopping with macca at lunch today included visits to woolworths, the pound store and the early learning centre. There was no doubt I would be joining him today. Macca was looking for an elephant of some sorts, relatively small not to gay looking (I think we’ve all seen them in the wild) sounds quite a straight forward task. Macca failed instead I ended up buying small soldiers and a travel size version of downfall…all in all a successful days shopping

I have Baggins and Helen to thank this weekend for An awesome BBQ. The Hosts with the most As well giving me quite an awful hangover. Highlights included Giant Jenga, Ahsan\Christerry Breaking a chair and just a general rowdyness you get from drinking from 1pm.

Glasgow School of Art degree show last night. Didn’t see any work and we had free booze allnight.

Today = Rough.

Look at this freaky looking fruit. It’s a pitaya, it grows in Mexico they changed its name to dragon fruit to try and boost sales…and to be honest it’s the only reason I bought it. I still can’t taste anything but it has the consistency of a kiwi and it looks cool. Eliza said it tasted like the smell of leaves which makes no sense what so ever, and I’ve eaten it!

the recent spate of hot weather and sitting with the window wide open all day has filled my flat bugs…it’s ace. This one is my favourite so far. This morning we showered together

This weekend see the Glasgow Mardi Gras as part of it’s westend festival which officially kicked off on friday but I’ve been so busy not had time to catch anything. A load music and theatre things popping up all over the westend…handy as it’s on my doorstep.

Today I thought I would take a wee wander down and see what was going on…got caught in the Mardi Gras last year coming home from brussels but just couldn’t be assed.

I went early and scooped a good spot above somerfield on byers road…lots of chatty random people all offering booze, strawberries and cheese…ideal. busy busy on byres road…lots of little stages setup all good…lots of BBQ’s dotted about that smelled amazing so I couldn’t resist. find out what else I probably won’t see here.

Well I have this week off work…woohoo. I was supposed to be going back to my folks to recover from my recent Amsterdam trip. But it’s all gone arse up, some work I agreed to do ages ago has come back to haunt me. Complete holiday sabotage. Eliza having finished uni has just gone back without me to gorge, leaving me to fend for myself…god I’m bored..

Today was lovely sunshine so to save my sanity I woke up at 1pm then walked to the park picked up a wildlife book from the oxfam bookshop for £1 and went a doodling. Emptied my ipod and filled it with some dross…kate bush? think I got sunburn…holidays are great.

I made an amazing beef cassarole which would feed about 6, There’s only me here it took me ages to make and I have some weird bug and can’t actually smell or taste anything…I’ve got some of that new chilli tomoato ketchup…BUT I CAN’T TASTE ANYTHING! oh the trauma…I was going to do a chilli ketchup vs reggae reggae sauce comparison…Damn my taste buds.
