This sticker appeared on the door of the internet cafe downstairs from my work. I was going to go in and ask them to prove it, i’ve seen some very suspicious looking characters going in and out of those doors.
Got tickets to go and see the boy least likely to. Knew nothing about them really. Had one track which I “acquired” of a random assortment of various other plinky plonky music.
It was…………AWESOME!. It helped that I knew nothing about them, so I’m not going to spoil it too much. Just go and see them. Difficult to describe. It doesn’t really sound like anything else. But if I had to try (and I might aswell have a go) Feel good happy jingle jangle with music that sounds like vic reeves wrote it using instruments he bought at charity shops and jumble sales. It was the funnest gig I’ve ever been to. Lots of dancing and whooping!.
Just before they came on they filled the room with ballons and gave out party poppers (the things that make a bang and fire out coloured paper…not drugs). So I knew it was going to be something worth celebrating. Highlights included their version of george michaels “faith” and a summery jingle called “warm panda cola”.
Support was good too. From the little ones. All very animated and fun, kinda like some modern day monkees. Great fun!
No I haven’t finished with my girlfriend. But I have got a new TV…WOOHOO!. It’s not new as such courtesy of dave, he went and bought a much better tv…go see his blog, I’ve no doubt it’s on his top spot. So I got a bargain, which I find difficult to turn down at the best of times. My first wide screen TV, quite exciting not gonna lie. My old TV was nearly as old as me and lacked the extra inches. I can now see all the credits…hoorah.
So I had to re-arrange my living room…which included sorting the jungle of wires that hides, lurking ready to jumble itself up at night while you sleep. All nice and tidy and a new place to sit and blog..OOOOOO! Moved my old TV through to my bedroom…no tv reception through there though, but it does mean I can now play my sega dreamcast in bed!
Dreams do come true…
A productive lunchtime some might say. Also managed a packed lunch and so far today haven’t spent a penny. I had “honey nut loops” for breakfast, only to discover they had dropped the “nuts”? yet they still tasted the same and apparently had no traces of nuts in them, so now they’re just “honey loops” which is just rubbish. Could go some fizzy pop…must resist! Yes there might be a pink colour scheme going on…What about it?
I think the bigger question really is, is it even legal to take a photograph in the mens toilet? I just thought it was quite funny…and nobody else was around…honest.
Name the game. I was 10 when I got it for my birthday…now that’s just crazy talk. Wouldn’t be so bad but I still play it. The sequal was better and the third one was just rubish.
Got my Wii plugged in after a spell of not being updated, only to discover there was a free trial of the “internet” available. Woohoo. That’s my blog on the tv…totally pointless, I know exactly what it says. My flash site worked as well…nothing above flash 6 though…tut tut tut.

What about Christmas eh? that was fun. I had at least twice as much fun as jesus on his birthday…I bet he never had crackers with hats in!

how much fun is not working? It’s been eventful and thankfully painless minus some hangovers, what a result. Lots of drinking, scrabble, battleships, connect four, silly dancing, crap jokes, fine food, awful tv, home made soup and let me just check…yup, no crap presents from santa this year…woohoo
new year was as good, With a big local Stonehaven turn out…don’t get me wrong…It’s let me down in the past…not this year though. Wasn’t much of a build up this year as it all seemed to mash into one big session since well before christmas. Brilliant. This year consisted of the usual silly drinking games with disasterous consequences followed by standing in a busy street while watching people swing huge balls of fire round their head…Some call it tradition. Genius, also the addition of fireworks…brilliant…can’t be assed with work
